Puls8 Replan allows planners to see how much Raw Material Requirements they need to satisfy a plan

Setup

To incorporate raw material in a plan, you need to include inputs into production methods. Below shows an example of ingredients being used as inputs to create BEEF LARGE SINGLE in the production methods.

Raw Material Production Method

Where a planner wants to see how much material to order for a plan, you run the plan without the Required Materials constraint.

Output

Below is a plan where there isn't enough raw materials for the plan. The shortage graph shows how much of a raw material needs to be ordered per period to meet the plan. The Solution download gives the planner the same information in tabular format.
